Location is probably the main attraction of this Downtown highrise on Nicollet Mall since it means easy access to the convention center, museums, shopping and nightlife; though some find an "accommodating" staff, others say they're "unfriendly" – either way, they can't do much about the "closet"-size rooms that look like they "haven't been updated since the late '80s" or the "not-very-warm" breakfast buffet featuring "waffles as hard as a rock."

As above, plus holes that were not repaired, Extra charge for parking.

It was not a 3.5 star hotel, it was more like a one star. Very unsatisfied.

Great location to downtown theaters.
The room was outdated and just looked sort of old and worn out. The elevators weren't working parking was expensive.

This was not the quality of hotel we usually stay. However, this hotel was in need of updates - at least the room we stayed in was. The elevators weren't working so we had to walk 3 flights of stairs with our luggage. Parking was somewhat expensive. The location of the hotel was great, however. We could walk where we wanted to go and didn't have to keep moving our car. ...read more

It met our needs of being affordable, and fairly quiet, as well as the location was central.
The cleaning staff started cleaning at 8am EVERY DAY and was VERY LOUD DOING SO!

The hotel lobby was OK. Parking is about $15 a night, which we found to be affordable. The staff was fairly friendly. The room we had was very small, the bathroom was VERY small, but suited our needs. The florescent lighting in the bathroom drove me insane.
The carpet is worn needs an upgrade throughout. The rest of the room was small, but again suited our needs with a king sized bed. And we slept fairly well, which is the main concern.

Price on Priceline, nice bed.
Old/outdated, not 3-4 star, amenities were not much.

It was okay for the price paid. It was okay to stay at as we were not there much. It is very outdated!

Central location to downtown.
Room and corridors showed signs of wear.

Conveniently located to downtown and excellent for the Minneapolis convention center.
